What to do on a Sunday

Sunday may be my least favourite day; I never really know what to do with it. Do I be productive and clean my house? Do I go on an adventure? Do I just spend the day relaxing? I find I end up spending most of the day trying to decide, and then I don't get to do much of any of it. I recognized this was becoming a weekly pattern, and decided I am going to try to put an end to it; starting by holding myself accountable with this blog, and trying to have guilt free Sundays.

Today, the beginning of guilt free Sundays, was a bit of a mixed bag. I started my day with a cup of chai tea and a delicious fudgy brownie cookie I made yesterday. I figured I was off to a good start by not feeling too guilty about eating a cookie first thing in the morning, and I did eat some yogurt and fruit afterward to be a little healthy; however, that guilty feeling started to creep in. I felt like I had to try and do something at least a little productive, so I started looking at some job applications and saved a few. Then I took a little break to do a puzzle on my computer with my stylus. While I was doing this I remembered how fun it is to draw on my laptop when it's in tablet mode! So I did a little doodling, but then I wanted to trace a picture of one of my grandparents new kittens. Since I can't currently afford software that allows me to do this well, I moved to paper!

Below is the photo I took of Kitty, and the simplified tracing I drew and scanned:

After my morning adventures, I had a late lunch and took Miley on a beautifully sunny walk. Then I took my plants outside to harden them off, and headed out to help my sister. She wanted some guidance with what sound equipment to get for her upcoming wedding, and with my past experience as a theatre technician, I was able to lead her in the right direction. I then found myself getting very sleepy and decided it was time to go home, wish my Dad a happy Fathers Day, and sit in the hammock; my favourite place to write blog posts.

Enjoy this photo of my cozy workspace:
