Oona River Community Association

My basic duties as Volunteer Community Hall Manager are receiving and responding to inquiries of booking requests, scheduling cleaners, providing information to tourists about local points of interest as well as upcoming community events, and communicating with the treasurer about invoices and the receipt of payment. Our goal is to provide a seamless and welcoming experience for visitors to our community.

Another role I fill is Volunteer Assistant Community Event Planner. For this position my tasks are creating flyers using Canva, sending event details to our email list, and handling the event set up and tear down.

A side project in took on for the Community Association was updating the community website. It was a new experience for me, but I was by far the youngest member, so the rest of the members asked me to give it a go.
